Vesele praznike !

Ljubljana and me

P1070320aaa   Vesele praznike ! –  Happy Hollidays! for everyone that is celebrating Easter all over the world and in Slovenia!

I was invited to a traditional Easter lunch, my host prepared the entire house to await for the Easter bunnyP1070337aaa and cooked a delicious meal that combined so well, from soup, till ham with fresh horseradish , that cured my endless cold suddenly:)

But what I got ,special from the Easter bunny, was the possibility to discover 3 old old Slovene books P1070318aaaa that kept me busy for hours !  – Kronika Slovenskih Mest –  Chronicle of Slovenian Towns Part I ,from 1931 and Part II, from 1934 and PesmaricaI II ,from 1911.

Pesmarica ,is an old collection of songs, traditional songs, that every Slovene woman had to know how to sing, containing from Ave Maria till …songs to honor the washerwomen, like this one :P1070298aaa or songs for little birds:) ,like this one:P1070299aaa.
