The war of beers

The war of beers took a new dimension in Ljubljana. There is Union, made in Ljubljana and there is  Laško,that took the name after the city where is made. Each pivo has its own pride and everyone that drinks beer in Slovenia has to join a side or the other on the war of beers.

Gardens around Ljubljana might show which side locals are on:    but my advice is to try them both and not be mislead by the fact some shops prefer to hide  Laško beer in Union’s refrigerator ;))
