Ljubljana and me

Glimpses, photos & experiences of a foreigner living in Slovenia, Ljubljana

Predjama Castle

Slovenia is the country of dragons as we discovered today, a beautiful castle,65 km away from Ljubljana on the way to Koper, nestled amongst hills of Inner Carniola. My small dragon learned today about traveling in a car and wearing a seat beltP1080244 and we went to see The Predjama Castle – Predjamski Grad.
The castle was built within a cave that resembled a stone dragon curled up around the entrance with his mouth getting deep inside the mountain caveP1080231.
A reminder of the long history of the place are the two pyramids, either side of the entrance P1080235
We loved the dragon look of the place and Tasha enjoyed the interesting smells and attention P1080227 😉
