Ljubljana and me

Glimpses, photos & experiences of a foreigner living in Slovenia, Ljubljana

The Locksmith Street

Ljubljana has in it’s own heart, many little veins , foot passages – prehodi, some intimate, some comfortable, some connecting us with our homes and dreams..   and some taking us to really weird places..like I found this one… More like a passage through a dream then between housesP1070724bbb

Before you pass, what long, long time ago was called Ključavničarska ulica – The Locksmith street

P1070722bbbyou get warned by the two guardians – two wolfs –P107072bbb3 that guard the road of flowersP1070721bbb. But the Flowers soon transform in some weird representations of facesP1070719bbb,that melt in the middle on the street P1070718aaataking your steps to a wall where a strange skeleton is dancing in front of your eyesP1070717bbb..

You continue the path of weird flowing facesP107071bbb6 to the exit of the dream, where you see the nightmare being trapped, as the criminals were punished for their crimes,in the olden days by the river sideP1070711bbb..
